Marianne Csizmadia – Music Associate

Marianne CszimadiaMarianne Csizmadia has been a music associate with Judith Finell MusicServices since 1991. Marianne has perfect pitch, and is an accomplished violinist, music analyst, and teacher. She studied at Mannes College of Music in New York City, receiving an M.M. (1993) and B.M. (1992). Ms. Csizmadia performs as a violinist in the United States and throughout Europe. Her live and recorded performances cover a wide range of genres, from classical to jazz and popular music. She also heads a private teaching studio for violin and piano and occasionally performs as a piano accompanist. Ms. Csizmadia has written music for television. She is fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish.

Dr. Ray Iwazumi has been a music associate with Judith Finell MusicServices since 2005. He currently is on the faculty of The Juilliard School in New York, and is an active concert violinist, composer, music consultant, and lecturer. He frequently performs and lectures at prestigious musical institutions internationally, such as The Juilliard School, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and the Orpheus Institute of Ghent. Fluent in written and spoken English, Japanese, and French, Ray is the author of several articles in music journals worldwide, including The Strad in Britain and the Japanese String journal. His awards include the 2004 Richard F. French Doctoral Prize and the 2002 Presser Music Award for music research.
 


Dr. Aaron Wunsch, D.M.A. – Music Associate

Dr. Aaron Wunsch has been a music associate with Judith Finell MusicServices since 2005. Currently on the faculty of The Juilliard School in New York, pianist Aaron Wunsch appears regularly on concert stages throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including frequent recital and teaching tours to China and Indonesia. He has performed at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, and at numerous festivals including Tanglewood and the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, and as soloist with the Yale and Colonial symphonies, among others. His awards for written work in musicology include the Henry Hart Rice Prize and the Richard F. French Prize. He is currently the Co-Artistic Director for the Music Mondays concert series in New York City.

Dr. Jennifer Fagre, Ph.D. – Music Associate

Dr. Jennifer Fagre has been a music associate with Judith Finell MusicServices since 2015. An active musician in both classical and popular realms, Jennifer also has extensive training in audio engineering, and has perfect pitch. She has taught privately and at the collegiate level for over 10 years. Jennifer worked for several years with JoAnn Kane Music Service, a leading music preparation service for the film, television, and recording industries. A violinist in demand in the orchestral and studio fields in Los Angeles, Jennifer also performs nationally and internationally. Among her recording credits, are her string tracks for Draco Rosa’s 2013 Grammy winning album, Vida.


Dr. Geoffrey Pope, D.M.A. – Music Associate

Dr. Geoffrey Pope has been a music associate with Judith Finell MusicServices since 2017. Recognized internationally through numerous appointments and commissions as a conductor and composer, Geoffrey excels in the symphonic and operatic realms, and has perfect pitch. At Eastman, he worked in the renowned Eastman Computer Music Center, and has taught courses in applied music technology. His recordings of contemporary music have been published by the Perspectives of New Music journal and broadcast on NPR. Geoffrey is the Founder and Music Director of the Émigré Composers Orchestra, dedicated to resurrecting works of exile composers in Los Angeles. His scholarly interests include the evolution of diegetic music in opera and motion pictures, as well as film music of the 1930s and 40s. Geoffrey is on the faculty of the University of California, Irvine.
